To prevent against aerosols and splashes
Disposable and good fitting
Change after every procedure and surgery

Protective glasses or eye shields / face shields / plastic gowns/ aprons / caps

Aprons to be worn outside clothing to protect against splashes
Can be worn beneath gowns when heavy contamination is anticipated
