Q: Are condoms the only answer to safe sex ?
A: No. While good quality lubricated condoms reduce the risk of HIV and STD infections, no condom can be said to be absolutely safe. Condoms can tear or have microscopic holes which make them ineffective. The only safe sexual behaviour is to have a mutually faithful sexual partner, who is not infected with HIV, or to practice sexual abstinence.
